Las Coloradas lagoons and beaches on the coasts of Yucatan, Mexico inspire this work. The salts, algae and microorganisms accumulated in this saline, produce the pink and sometimes reddish tones of these waters. The vibrant colors and intriguing patterns will enliven any room or business.
This painting is an original piece made in mixed media on paper using acrylic paints, alcohol inks, gels and acrylic paste all to achieve subtle textures as well as transparency and depth.
Dimensions: 13” x 40”, 26″ x 53” framed. This painting was created to be hung either horizontally or vertically and looks amazing in either format.
