Las Coloradas lagoons and beaches on the coasts of Yucatan, Mexico inspired this work. The salts, algae and microorganisms accumulate and produce the pink tones of these waters. The vibrant colors and intriguing patterns will enliven any room or business.
This painting is an original made in mixed media on paper using acrylic paints, alcohol inks, gels and acrylic paste all to achieve subtle textures as well as transparency and depth.
