Description
Alejandro was inspired by cocoons in this series of paintings. A cocoon is a covering of silky threads that the larvae of butterflies make for themselves before they grow into adults. The metamorphosis that happens within the safety of the cocoon is something truly incredible. The vibrant colors, intricate details, and intriguing patterns will enliven any room or business!
This painting is an original piece made in mixed media on paper using acrylic paints, gels, and acrylic paste as well as a little oil pastel to achieve transparencies and depth.
With it comes a custom silver wood frame with white linen matting and clear plexiglass that was built by his manager Manuel De la Mora to compliment Alejandro’s fine art.
Dimensions: 13” x 40”, framed 26” x 53”. This painting can be hung either horizontally or vertically and looks amazing from both perspectives.
